To support our development team, we are looking for motivated working students (m/f/d) who are interested in hands-on technology, interdisciplinary collaboration, and future-oriented development projects. In a dynamic environment, you will work on exciting solutions at the interface of hardware, software, and data analysis.

Your Position

You support our development team in turning ideas into functional software solutions. With your quick comprehension skills and technical understanding, you work on exciting projects related to our hyperspectral cameras and their applications. In doing so, you operate at the interface between hardware and software and help develop prototypes, tools, and algorithms that create real added value for our customers.
You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics, finding solutions independently, and working as part of a team on innovative technologies.

Your Tasks

  • Software Development: Support in the development of software components, tools, and prototypes, e.g. for data processing, automation, or system control.
  • Data Processing & Analysis: Contribute to the processing and evaluation of measurement data, particularly in the field of imaging or sensor-based systems.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Implement and test new ideas and features within development projects.
  • Teamwork: Close collaboration with our engineers in the areas of hardware, optics, and application development.

  • Experience with C++
  • Knowledge of OpenCV
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Your Qualifications

  • Degree program in a technical or scientific field, e.g. computer science, physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable discipline
  • Programming experience in Python
  • Quick comprehension skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • Interest in practical development and interdisciplinary systems
  • Very good German or English language skills
  • Availability of approximately 20 hours per week
