HIGH-SPEED SWIR SNAPSHOT IMAGING

The ULTRIS SWIR 1G captures 38 spectral channels across the short-wave infrared range from 980 to 1664 nm. All channels are acquired simultaneously without scanning, at frame rates of up to 92 fps in LQ mode or 61 fps in HQ mode. GigE connectivity, external triggering and a C-mount interface support integration into laboratory, industrial and research setups.

FLEXIBLE SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The ULTRIS SWIR 1G supports different SWIR lenses and optical configurations through its C-mount interface. With dimensions of 36 × 36 × 104.85 mm and a weight of 140 g, the camera fits into compact laboratory and industrial setups.
GigE connectivity and external triggering allow image acquisition to be integrated into existing measurement workflows. Passive cooling is complemented by optional active air or water cooling, supporting dynamic and continuous measurement tasks.

INFORMATION BEYOND THE VISIBLE

The SWIR range reveals spectral differences that are not accessible to conventional visible imaging. Absorption features related to water, organic compounds and material composition provide additional contrast for identification, differentiation and quantitative analysis.

Typical applications include moisture and material analysis, food and agricultural inspection, plastics and chemical differentiation, scientific imaging and cultural heritage research.

The snapshot advantage

All 38 spectral channels are captured simultaneously in every exposure, without mechanical scanning. This reduces motion between spectral bands and enables hyperspectral imaging of moving objects and changing processes.
With no scanning axis or moving optics, the ULTRIS SWIR 1G can be integrated into setups ranging from laboratory measurements to industrial inspection.

The ULTRIS SWIR 1G in Action

From moisture mapping to material identification, the ULTRIS SWIR 1G reveals information beyond the visible spectrum. Its snapshot technology captures complete scenes at up to 92 fps in LQ mode or 61 fps in HQ mode, supporting applications in remote sensing, machine vision, medical research, and defense.

MOISTURE MAPPING

Investigate moisture differences in vegetation and soil using short-wave infrared imaging. The ULTRIS SWIR 1G captures spectral information related to water content, supporting agricultural research, environmental monitoring, and the assessment of changing conditions in the field.

Plastic Identification

Distinguish plastics through their spectral signatures, even when they look similar in visible light. The ULTRIS SWIR 1G supports material identification and sorting, with high-speed snapshot acquisition suited to dynamic processes in recycling and industrial quality control.

TISSUE RESEARCH

Explore differences in biological tissue using spectral information in the short-wave infrared range. The ULTRIS SWIR 1G supports biomedical imaging research, while interchangeable lenses allow integration into different optical setups for laboratory studies.

MATERIAL DISCRIMINATION

Reveal spectral differences between materials that share a similar visible appearance. The ULTRIS SWIR 1G adds short-wave infrared information to scene analysis, supporting material discrimination and monitoring in security and defense applications.
